The Welsh Revival

In 1904 a great Revival began here in Wales, and spread quickly throughout the rest of the world. In Wales it is claimed that 100,000 people were converted through the preaching of Evan Roberts and others. The crime rate dropped, pubs reported a serious loss of trade, and pit ponies stood confused because they didn't understand language without swearing! Today the decline in faith here in Wales, as well as the increase in social evils such as crime and immorality, show that there is a great need for another such revival. Our prayer is that The Light Radio station will spread the Word quickly too, through contemporary Christian worship and praise music, through Bible readings, stories for children and young people, interviews, events and testimonies.
